DIRECT SALES AGENT
KSM MANAMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country and is now actively looking to recruit WAREHOUSE MANAGER for a client in the Farming sector.
Purpose of the Job
In this position, you will be reporting to the Logistics Manager and will be required to manage warehouse teams and ensure optimum warehousing operations in terms of quality of service, adherence to regulations, cost control and safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide necessary leadership to carry out all activities with respect to warehouse systems and processes
- Supervise, train, mentor and measure productivity of warehouse team in line with warehouse operational goals
- Maintain a positive and close working relationship with other functions
- Manage all system controls and supervise system transactions
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
- Supplier relationship and development to optimize quality and performance
- Managing overhead expenditure within budget constraints
- Ensuring the work environment as well as employees are managed according to Lactalis SHER policy
Professional Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in Logistics/ Supply chain or related field
- 8 years supervisory level experience in logistics, transport or agro- related business
- Working knowledge of computerized office systems, warehousing applications, labour laws, Health and Safety Legislation
- Budget planning and management skills
- Financial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Project and inventory management skills
- Quality results oriented
- Teamwork and cooperation
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
