Job Description

KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit for The Branch Manager on behalf of our client in the banking sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Overseeing daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruiting, training, and managing branch staff, including setting performance goals and providing ongoing coaching.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
  • Sales and Marketing: Developing and implementing strategies to meet sales targets and promote branch services.
  • Financial Management: Monitoring the branch’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenses.
  • Inventory Control: Managing inventory levels and ensuring that products are stocked and available to meet customer demand.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring that the branch complies with all regulations and policies, and managing any risks associated with branch operations.
  • Reporting: Preparing regular reports on branch performance, sales, and operational issues for upper management.
  • Community Engagement: Building relationships with the local community and promoting the branch’s presence through outreach efforts.
  • Strategic Planning: Contributing to overall business strategy by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement within the branch.

 

Education and Experience

  • University Degree preferably in Business administration, Banking and Finance, commerce and accounting or related discipline.
  • At least 4years work experience in a commercial bank recognized bank or finance institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the company.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Google.
