COLLECTION AGENTS (x20) – WANTED

We are actively seeking Debt Collection Agents across all provinces and towns of Zambia—Lusaka, Copperbelt, Central, Eastern, Western, Southern, North Western, Muchinga, Luapula, and Northern—who are committed to making a positive impact while advancing their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly follow up on overdue accounts and actively engage debtors to settle outstanding balances.
- Conduct field collection visits as needed, especially for hard-to-reach debtors.
- Implement tracking and tracing (skip tracing) techniques to locate delinquent debtors effectively.
- Maintain respectful, ethical, and professional communication at all times.
- Negotiate and propose realistic, feasible repayment plans in accordance with company policies.
- Accurately update and maintain debtor account records and tracking data.
- Engage in business development activities by liaising with organizations, companies, and potential partners to generate new leads and maximize collection opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team on minimizing bad debts and improving recovery rates.
- Consistently meet or exceed set collection targets, contributing to the growth and profitability of the organization.
- Proactively identify and report on debtors’ behaviours and recovery opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Grade 12 School Certificate.
- A Certificate or Diploma in Business, Finance, Credit Management, or related fields is an advantage.
- Ex- Police / service men and / Police Reserves are encouraged to apply
- Exceptional Negotiation, communication, persuasion and interpersonal skills a must
- Proven ability to conduct physical visits and work in the field by engaging debtors.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and keen to pay attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently or part of a team.
- Prior experience in debt collection, Finance, sales, or investigations is an advantage.
- Willingness to engage in business development efforts.
