Position Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. This role involves transporting goods or passengers safely and efficiently. An added advantage will be given to candidates with experience in motorbike riding.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles; including cars, vans, and motorbikes, to transport goods or passengers to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes, utilizing GPS and navigation tools.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and team members.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents promptly to management.
Qualifications and skills
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Experience with motorbikes will an added advantage
- Proven experience as a driver, with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Ability to operate a range of vehicles, including motorcycles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items when necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Extremely honest.
