Job Description: We are seeking a strategic and dynamic HR Business Partner to collaborate with our business leaders and support the implementation of HR initiatives that align with the company’s objectives and values. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in driving organizational performance, fostering a positive work culture, and enhancing employee engagement in Kitwe, Zambia.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand their objectives and provide HR guidance and support
  • Partner with management to develop and implement HR strategies that drive employee engagement, talent management, and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure that the organization has the right talent in place to achieve its goals
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement
  • Collaborate with the HR team to deliver training and development programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices
  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and enhance HR programs and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years proven work experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
