Job Description
KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit for Human Resource Manager on behalf of our client in the banking sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing: Developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process.
- Onboarding: Facilitating the orientation process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Implementing performance appraisal systems, providing feedback, and supporting employee development.
- Training and Development: Identifying training needs and coordinating professional development programs for staff.
- Policy Development: Creating and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and best practices.
- Compensation and Benefits: Managing payroll, employee benefits, and ensuring competitive compensation structures.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies to minimize legal risks.
- Workforce Planning: Analyzing workforce trends and developing strategies to meet the organization’s future staffing needs.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promoting diversity initiatives and creating an inclusive work environment
- Off-boarding: Manage the end to end exit management process including but not limited to:
- Ensure the completion and accuracy of all required documentation, including final pay, benefits, and compliance forms.
- Conduct structured exit interviews to gather feedback and insights from departing employees.
- Manage the clearance process, including the exit checklist, to ensure all company assets and access are returned and deactivated.
- Ensure line manager communicates the departure to relevant stakeholders, such as team members, clients, and service providers, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualification:
Degree qualification in Human Resource, Administration or Industrial Psychology
Professional HR certification is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of HR experience with at least two years in an HRBP role.
Strong knowledge of Labor laws and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the company.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite/Google.
