Job Overview

The MARKETING OFFICER will Coordinate all marketing activities and events. To increase the market share through retention of existing customers. Providing a service that exceeds Customer expectations and also provide information about the market and the competition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To recommend adverts for approval by the National Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Receives applications and proposals from creative companies and magazines.
  • Recommend the type of promotion and media to use by Vehicle sales, parts sales, and service departments.
  • Handle all expenses pertaining to functions and retire marketing float.
  • To possess product knowledge and disseminate information within the company.
  • Monitor that all marketing activities are towards achieving set marketing Objectives.
  • Ordering promotion materials and corporate wear, and ensuring all vehicles are branded and our service areas reflect the corporate brand.
  • Networking with Competitors
  • To co-ordinate all marketing activities
  • To co-ordinate all outdoor events
  • Co-ordinate press, electronic, and outdoor advertisements for the company.
  • New product launches.
  • Monitor, propose, and update content of company presence on social media.
  • Product & Service promotions.
  • Drawing up marketing calendar i.e. marketing plan and budget
  • Sponsorships of Events
  • Corporate Branding
  • Showroom Maintenance
  • Marketing intelligence to include the external environment PESTL as well as our customers, the market, and the competition
  • Ensuring that the competitors’ monthly report is up to date
  • To ensure function costs do not exceed budget
  • To ensure that all marketing costs are in line with the marketing calendar
  • Reviewing monthly marketing expenses
  • Create and update customer list (database) in different categories for communication
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time

Education & Experience

Grade 12 certificate with 5 O’ level credits

Bachelor in Marketing/Business Management or related

Knowledge and experience of Marketing

  • Ability to fit as a member of the Team
  • Strong communication skills

Must have a valid manual transmission vehicle driving license



NB: This is an entry level position

Any experience in this field will be an added advantage.
