Job Description
(a) JOB PURPOSE
To plan and support monitoring and evaluation of the company’s projects and programmes in order to ensure effective implementation and attainment of set objectives and conducting an internal capability assessment to establish the Company’s distinctive competencies.
(b) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i) Monitoring and Evaluation: To effectively monitor and evaluate policies, programmes and strategies in order to assess their impact and facilitate development of appropriate interventions;
ii) M & E Tools Development: To develop and train end users in monitoring and evaluation tools and systems in order to facilitate implementation of appropriate involvements;
iii) Quality Improvement: To develop and implement quality improvement intervention in order to enhance delivery of programmes;
v) Strategic Plan Performance Review: Undertakes effectively mid- term and annual performance review and evaluation of the Strategic Plan in order to contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate interventions and ascertain the achievement of set goals;
vi) Research: To effectively conduct research on printing and related topics in order to facilitate informed decision making for the Company;
vii) Annual Review Programmes: Coordinates effectively the annual review programmes in order to assess progress of programmes implemented;
viii) Information: To effectively manage Information Management System in order to facilitate storage and retrieval of information for enhanced decision making;
viii) Planning: Ensures timely preparation of the company’s plans in order to facilitate effective implementations of set objectives; and
x) Reporting: To prepare timely policy briefs, monitoring reports for use by policy makers and implementers.
(c) REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must meet the following requirements:
• Full Grade 12 School / GCE Certificate with a minimum of five (5) credits including English language or its equivalent;
• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies or equivalent;
• An M&E certificate is an added advantage;
• Ability to write technical and analytical report and communicate effectively;
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation;
• Proven ability to work with quantitative software packages such as Excel, SPSS and others.
