JOB OPPORTUNITY: MULTIPLE POSITIONS
KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively seeking to recruit for Multiple Positions for our Client in the Medical Industry.
1) LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct a variety of complex laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of test results and data.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with a team of scientists and technicians to achieve research goals.
• Assist in the development and validation of laboratory procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
2) PHARMACY TECHNOLOGIST
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately.
• Maintain records of prescription orders and patient profiles.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with inventory management and order processing.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems.
• Help educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
Education & Experience:
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and compounding.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription filling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
3) FRONT DESK: FRENCH SPEAKING RECEPTIONIST.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• They must be articulate, presentable and also fluent in English and have experience working in admin or as a receptionist.
• Added bonus would be if they spoke Swahili as well.
• Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and answering any inquiries.
• Assisting clients in finding their way around the premises.
• Scheduling appointments and keep those appointments on time.
• Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
• Keeping a clean and calm reception area.
• Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation.
• Monitoring and ordering stationery and clinical supplies.
• Booking and organizing staff and doctor meetings.
• Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.
• Liaising with other medical departments.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by superiors.
Education & Experience:
• Diploma or equivalent / Bachelor’s degree (advantageous). Administration certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a medical receptionist role.
• Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
• Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
• Passionate about healthcare excellence.
4) IT SPECIALIST (FULL TIME/PART-TIME)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Website Design and Maintenance
• Must have a background in Information systems
• Responsible for maintenance and backup of internal development servers
• Responsible for maintaining telecommunication and web systems
• Able to do hardware diagnostics.
• Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.
• Design, develop, and maintain the company’s website to ensure a user-friendly and informative online presence.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and update website content, including news, events, and important announcements.
• Social Media Content Creation
Education & Experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in as an IT Specialist.
• Degree in computer science or a related field is preferable.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication ability, both written and verbal.
5) CASHIER
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
• Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
• Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of work shift
Education & Experience
• Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cashier or similar role.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
