PARTS RUNNER/PICKER (SOLWEZI 1)
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Runner to support warehouse and service operations within the automotive industry. The Parts Runner will be responsible for accurately picking, transporting, and delivering automotive parts between the warehouse, service bays, and designated departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and deliver automotive parts and supplies as requested.
- Transport parts safely and efficiently between warehouse, service areas, and technicians.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and condition before delivery.
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of parts movement and deliveries.
- Return unused or incorrect parts to inventory following procedures.
- Keep warehouse and staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Follow safety, handling, and company procedures at all times.
- Support warehouse staff and service teams during peak periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma in any related fields.
- Previous experience in the warehouse.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible to work long hours and holidays.
- Knowledge of Health and safety policies.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
