The TRVAL CONSULTANT will be responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of corporate travel arrangements for customers within and outside our country. Your role will involve ensuring that all travel arrangements are made efficiently, cost-effectively, and by company policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle clients and identify their packages based on their suggestions and requirements.
- Study and assimilate all information regarding travel destinations such as prices, weather, language, customs, etc.
- Planning and selling tours, transportation, accommodation, insurance, and other travel services.
- Provide an end-to-end tours service while organizing the trip from booking the tickets, reserving the hotels, and creating the itinerary.
- Provide all relevant and essential information to tourist regarding their travel like guides, brochures, and maps.
- Sell the appropriate tour package to customers within and outside the country.
- Manage all online and social media platforms and market the tour and accommodation promotions.
- Negotiate trip fairs / accommodation and any customization tour packages to ensure the best tour experience.
- Manage and update various websites / social media platforms to ensure information is upto
date.
- Develop marketing initiatives to ensure a higher uptake of tour packages using various marketing and sales technics.
- To negotiate various accommodation and tour packages to ensure profitability and seamless travel experience.
- Attend to and resolve any client problem that may arise.
- Able to manage all bookings and social systems for advertising.
- Regularly update a database containing client details and travel information.
- Stay up to date on domestic and international travel events/locations.
- Arrange all travel logistics for within and outside.
- Prepare the best suitable service to meet the client’s requirement.
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Business Administration/Marketing/Hotel management and hospitality or related
- Experience in the tourism and hospitality industry – a must
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills being an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office and online / Social Media platforms
- Extensive knowledge of travel booking systems, online travel portals, and travel management tools
- Social media marketing / socialization is an added advantage
- Good Presentation and negotiation skills
- Good Planning event management skills
- Budgeting and cost management experience an added advantage
- Flexibility to adapt to changing travel arrangements and schedules
- Must be ready and flexible to travel both locally and internationally facilitating tours
- BUDGET: K7,000 – K8,000
