KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country and is now actively looking to recruit FINANCIAL ADVISORS – SALES AGENTS for a client in the Financial/Insurance Industry.
Purpose of the Job
The Financial Advisor – Sales Agent is responsible for the sales and marketing of various insurance products and services across the country.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contacts prospective clients about insurance products and policies.
- Meets with potential clients to discuss the adequacy of existing insurance coverage and related financial resources.
- Explains various insurance policies and products to potential and existing clients; guides clients in selecting coverage to best meet their needs.
- Suggests modifications and updates to clients existing insurance policies.
- Builds customized insurance policies and packages to meet clients’ needs.
- Processes insurance policy renewals.
- Assists clients with filing insurance claims.
- Maintains print and electronic records and files as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
- G12 Certificate including Mathematics/Accounts and English.
- First commercial degree or Higher National Diploma, an added advantage but not mandatory
- Presentable, Mature with good communication skills (both orally and written)
- Should be sales aggressive, effective communicator, team player, sociable, versatile, resourceful, hardworking and should exhibit initiative
- Sales experience in the financial / insurance industry is an added advantage
- Preferably have own car
- Good presentation skills
- Be able to demonstrate a keen ability to inter-relate with people of diverse backgrounds and should be able to communicate at all levels with a great service-orientated disposition.
