JOB OPPORTUNITY: LOGISTICS DISPATCHER
KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit LOGISTICS DISPATCHER for a client in the Mining industry.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The LOGISTICS DISPATCHER will be responsible for providing support for the implementation of dispatch policies and processes by participating in planning/ coordinating movement of cement products and/ or materials between the Plant and approved areas.
- Assist Operations staff with documentation collection and follow-up;
- Printing loading bills for trucks loading various products
- Assist Operations staff with organizing, compiling, and processing customer and vendor information in the ERP system
- Answer and direct incoming phone and email traffic from drivers and sales personnel.
- Prepare cumulative orders report at the end of the shift.
- Collaborating with other line departments when necessary.
- Source for t3pl trucks to deliver cement within Zambia
- Reconciling monthly statements with transporters
- Good communication skills, ability to work beyond normal work hours preferably via mobile.
- Good records management
Duties and Responsibilities:

Education & Experience
- Certificate in logistics and transport, Degree is an added advantage
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel;
- Must be a recognized member of the chartered institute of Logistics and Transport Zambia.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own time;
- Professional telephone and email etiquette;
- High level of organization to retrieve, process, and report information
- Should have a valid occupational health and safety certificate (silicosis)
- Valid Police clearance
