Job Description
- ACCOUNTANT will manage financial operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support the institution rapid growth through effective and efficient accounting practices in a multinational and multi-entity environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, while resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial statements.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present results to the finance team and other stakeholders.
- Analyze financial information and summarize the financial status, providing insights for decision-making.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and improvement processes.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing financial statements, reconciling entries, and ensuring all adjustments are accurate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives.

Education & Experience
- Degree in Finance or Accounting or related
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software, especially QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process.
- Experience in creating financial accounting statements
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software, especially QuickBooks.
- Aptitude for financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making based on data analysis.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
