                                         BUSINESS AND ACQUISITION OFFICER

 KSM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT, the largest HR firm in Zambia recently acquired GOZAMBIAJOBS.CO.ZM, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country is now actively looking to recruit for a Business and Acquisition Officer on behalf of our client in the consultancy industry.

A Talent Business and Acquisition Officer will plays a crucial role in managing the recruitment and talent strategy for an organization. The role involves to attract, acquire, and retain top talent while aligning the recruitment process with the company’s overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Acquisition:

  • Independently prepare EoIs in consultation with Project Managers.
  • Support bid preparation with Project Managers.
  • Conduct staff searches independently and with PMs, screen responses to job advertisements.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks and communicate with partner firms to collect necessary documents.
  • Select relevant project references and adapt standard texts.
  • Prepare text components, graphics, and presentations.
  • Identify and communicate with suitable potential experts, and subsequently prepare staff lists.
  • Diligently follow-up all necessary source documents required to put together an acquisition document.
  • Ensure that all key aspects of acquisition documents are adhered to before they are submitted. Compile and submit acquisition documents to relevant bodies.
  • Assume responsibility for other supporting activities.

Data Procurement and Maintenance:

  • Conduct research on consortium partners, analyze strategy papers, and obtain background information.
  • Maintain and manage company databases and reference documents.
  • Meticulously keep up to date project references and past project data.
  • Edit project documents as needed.
  • Proofread and format project reports.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or other relevant degree. An MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Graphics Software),
  • 3+ years of Proven experience in project acquisition and proposal preparation.
  • Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in data procurement and research. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
