About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operational excellence and drive efficiency within the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic leadership capabilities, outstanding management skills, and a proven track record of success within the reinsurance or insurance industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Daily Operations: The COO will oversees the organization’s day-to-day processes, ensuring they are carried out effectively and efficiently across departments.
- Developing Strategy: They help create and implement business strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.
- Leading Teams: The COO will leads and coordinates various departments, ensuring collaboration and alignment toward shared objectives.
- Financial Oversight: They work with the finance team to monitor budgets, optimize resource allocation, and manage costs.
- Tracking Performance: Will regularly evaluates the performance of the company’s operations, identifying areas for improvement and driving necessary changes.
- Managing Risks: Assess operational risks and take steps to minimize them, ensuring smooth business functions.
- Talent Development: The COO will plays an active role in recruitment, training, and retaining talent, especially in key operational roles.
- Collaborating with the CEO: Works closely with the CEO to ensure operations align with the company’s strategic vision and may step in for the CEO when needed.
- Driving Innovation: They lead efforts to improve processes, increase productivity, and introduce new technologies to optimize operations.
- Focusing on Customers: Ensuring the company delivers top-notch customer service, improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree is essential, with professional ACII certification and a Master’s degree considered highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the reinsurance or insurance sector, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of reinsurance practices, underwriting, and claims management.
- Proven track record in leading operational teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and risk management in the reinsurance industry.
