Job Description

Will drive the sales of technology solutions by targeting new prospects and cultivating existing customer relationships. The Sales Engineer will provide expert technical support to the sales team, ensure successful product implementation, and deliver high customer satisfaction.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support sales executives with solution selling into a prospect account base.
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Develop and model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity to demonstrate value and ROI to potential clients.
  • Successfully match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions, ensuring all technical needs are met.
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and product demonstrations that clearly communicate the unique value proposition of the technology solutions.
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) responses, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Effectively communicate client needs and requirements to the research and development teams for future product enhancements and improvements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document competitive intelligence to maintain the organization’s competitive edge in the market.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within the client base.

Education & Experience

 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or technical support role, preferably selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling technology solutions and achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience managing the technical aspects of RFPs and RFIs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a cross-functional team.
