Role purpose
To sell and promote Syngenta products to all assigned existing customer portfolios and prospective accounts
Accountabilities

- Relationships (mostly linked to sales activities)
- Inventory Reporting
Duties include
- Execute regional sales & marketing activities including merchandising
- To sell and promote Syngenta products to all assigned existing customer portfolios and prospective accounts
- Directly manage assigned key Agro dealers and Stockists accounts plus a number of sub-accounts in the territory
- Manage key Agro dealers, Stockists stock level and coordinate redistribution of stock & stock returns with Sales team
- Share demand plan with the Regional Manager & Operations team on a weekly basis
- Create demand and take orders from Agro dealers, Stockists and organise and coordinate delivery of products to the customers with Operations team
- Provide sales training to Agro dealers and Stockists
- Ensure all customers are handled and serviced within accepted Syngenta policy and standards
- Provide quality and timely sales report to Regional Manager
- Closely cooperate with the field experts in the area to maximize efficacy
- In the low season create demand, attend field days, hold farmer and dealer trainings
- Monitor competitor activities
- To propose proactively corrective actions or actions capturing opportunities

Critical knowledge
- Good understanding of local agriculture industry

Critical experience/qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in any agriculture or business related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in relevant role
- Experince in marketing & selling in the agriculture industry a plus
- Keen demonstrated strengths in unquestionable integrity and trustworthiness.
- Experience in working in multi national organizations with emphasis on communicating and decision making with demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
- Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities
- Credible with regional management and comfortable with expressing his/her views or putting alternate point of view in a constructive way.
- Strong Communication, Interpersonal & Influencing Skills
- Strong result orientation
- Fluency in written and spoken languages
