Job Description

The VEHICLE TRACKING ADMINISTATOR Responsible for tracking all vehicles and reporting their status. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive preventive adherence program for the company’s fleet and escalating drivers/vehicles that default on the vehicle tracking system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To monitor GPS.
  • Ensure that all trucks are on route all the time.
  • Responsible for ensuring that drivers report on time and are always present at the trucks at offloading and loading points to avoid delays.
  • Ensures that all drivers start off and park at instructed time
  • Ensures ensure that all trucks are dispatched from the yard on time.
  • Ensures that all problems facing drivers are reported to management on time for timely decision-making.
  • Ensures that all drivers adhere to speed limits set by the company.
  • Ensures that communication between the office and drivers is constant.
  • Ensures that all management decisions are communicated to drivers without delay.
  • Monitoring delivery locations and details.
  • Ensures strict compliance with company regulations by drivers.
  • Identifying and keeping records of delivery diversions

 

Education & Experience

  • Diploma in Transport and Logistics or related
  • Minimum of 2 Years experience in a similar role
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Must be analytical and problem-solving
  • Must be a member of ZAMBIA CHARTERED INSTITUTE FOR LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORT
