Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS)
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
ZABS is a statutory body operating under the Standards Act No. 4 of 2017. The Bureau previously operated under the Standmds Act CAP. 416 of 1994 which came to an end on 31 December 2017. ZABS exists to support industry in the pmduction of goods and services of acceptable quality through provision of Standards development, Training and Conformity Assessment semices. It is the custodian ofnational standards and acts as a link between the local industry and regional and international standardization and quality assurance (SQA) organizations.
The Bureau wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill the following vacant position;
SECRETARY (02)
JOB PURPOSE
To provide and administrative services to the Directors according to the laid down procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Full Grade 12 certificate
- Diploma in Secretarial and Office Management
- Diploma in Public Administration or Human Resources will be an added advantage
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience
- Candidate must have analytical skills and communication skllls
- Computer literate in excel, word mocessing, power point. Ability to work with minimum supervision, of sober character and capable of handling confidential matters.
CONDITIONS
The positions are in Permanent and Pensiomble conditions of service category.
